I believe that simplicity in design is a philosophy to create lively vibrant spaces.
Sherrill Whiton compares studying interior design to the study of a foreign language with the vocabulary (knowledge of the material of decoration) and the grammar (principles and formulas for composing and assembling). I like the comparison because I believe that a language remains a communication tool which doesn’t in itself necessarily give you access to a culture. It is the same for Interior design. I feel that it is my maturity, my understanding of trends, people and history, in addition to an instinctive flair and a creative mind which give my work its individuality.
Interior Design should not be thought of as a luxury service, but a common-sense decision which saves you time and money and gives you what you really want and need. The most important thing about design is how it makes you feel.
