Yolande's roots, are on the continent (Parisian) with her heart firmly in the UK. Her inspiration is taken from nature which gives her a golden key for her creativity, from different cultures and her expansive emotional memories from time spent abroad which have opened her heart to the vibrant world of craft and design. She is also inspired by the greats from different fields of the arts: many artists nourish her creative flame and some of her favourites are Michelangelo, Caravaggio, Handel, Whistler, Caillebote and Rimbaud. She is always searching for the harmony between colours, forms, texture and peoples' sensibilities.

Her solid years of business experience: HND graphic design publishing, free-lance photo-engrapher working for Marie-claire etc. Digital Print Manager for a photographic department in Paris, Brand-Coordinator at Cambridge University, give her the capabilities to handle the multifaceted role of an efficient Interior Designer. She is a fully qualified Interior Designer with a diploma from the Jasper Jacob Academy of Design (JJA) and an Associate of British Interior Design Association (BIDA).
She has been a regular consultant at the Grand Designs, Ideal Home Show, a Place in the Sun and a colour consultant for CROWN for the national campaign in 2006.
